This is by far one of my favourites!!!
Like, I literally love this stuff!!!
- 300g Chopped Spinach
- 250ml Double Thick Cream
- 200g Bacon (I like to use the streaky bacon and dice it myself)
- ¼ Cup Cheddar / Mozzarella Cheese (Depending on Preference)
Steam your spinach for about 15 – 20 minutes.
Chop up your bacon (if not already diced in the package), and grill in a pan in a small amount of butter until cooked.
Next, heat up your cream in a pot on the stove. Once heated, add your grated cheese and mix in. once nicely combined add in your spinach and bacon.
Add salt to taste.
Voila! Serve warm. It tastes great and goes well with a roast or braaied meat.
